Apologies for not returning to this collection sooner which we had promised. While we don’t have any further information about the Abbess, we have still been researching this tragic convent almost obsessively.
After further analysis we are positively sure that the Abbess infiltrated this once traditional and peaceful convent. Furthermore we believe that the person may have been assigned by the Siblings of Saint Rupert.
We have drawn this conclusion after decoding some of the text jotted around the above paintings. This is an extract from the text:
Thy will drink the blood of the dead and spit in the face of the Lord!
Thy will suffer graciously!
Thy will die graciously!
In war thy will worship Rupert!
In Hell thy will worship Rupert!
O’ be joyful in the pain of heathens!
Murder, Master, Murder!
As you can see, this isn’t your typical church on Sunday prayer.
We will continue to explore this collection and hopefully report back a lot sooner than last time.
