Welcome to the Victorian Underground Project

The above images depict some of the artwork, statues and ornaments which can be found in Monkey Manor. We have no idea how Ms Telford obtained these. It’s entirely possible that they are her creations.

Photograph #1 might look cute, but it isn’t depicting a special bond between primate and human; rather it’s depicting a primate which has turned a human baby into a cute and cuddly pet.

Similarly photograph #2 isn’t a statue depicting a skilled hunter gatherer; it’s depicting a man who became a prize kill carried out by a gang of primates. It’s basically a parallel universe where monkeys became the dominant species, many years before the Planet of the Apes writers were even born.

As previously stated we have no idea where Ms Telford obtained these items. Some have suggested that over the years she commissioned artists to help with this project but there’s no hard evidence for such a claim.

This is the last in this series unless we receive more documents and background information (which often happens). It’s a strange little story with both mystery and tragedy.
