Shortly after we posted the first collection of the Siblings of Saint Rupert, an anonymous collector contacted us. They told us about some photographs which they’d inherited from their late father who, in turn, inherited them from their father etcetera, spanning back several generations.
We asked for digital copies for analysis and, once received, we were immediately taken aback. We had never heard of this secret order before. The collector has also passed to us lots of written documents, scripture, maps of stars and planets, and religious paintings.
We have been studying this order ever since and, unlike the Siblings, we can provide a lot of background information. One important difference to note here is that there is nothing sinister going on. In fact it appears to be quite the opposite.
The early Druids go back nearly a thousand years. What appears to be the genesis is that a man turned up on the shores of a nearby Cumbrian settlement in a state of overwhelming joy. When several villagers approached him, he claimed that years prior, a mysterious entity had told him to follow the light from the very beach they were standing on.
The man, who became known as Edrick the Great had followed what he believed to be the light and had ended up arriving at a completely different planet. He then goes on to make a mesmerising account. The following is a slimmed down approximate translation from Old English:
“I was swept off into the sky, surrounded by night sparkles. Sometimes day and sometimes night. No food but dead birds, no drink but dead blood. But I didn’t suffer if I continued to follow the light.
After many turns of the moons and sun, I eventually arrived at a new planet. It was green and exotic and the animals were majestic. But the real surprise was meeting people just like us. Except there was love everywhere you turned; as if love was all they knew.
The people welcomed me as one of their own. I learned their customs and language, and joined in their rituals. They told me they worshipped the Light because without it there is nothing. Yet Light is everywhere; including inside of us. I worshipped with them and discovered the light inside.
I wanted to stay for eternity but I knew that I had to return and tell you all. These other people built me a magnificent boat and told me to visit again in the future with more friends. I promised them that I would do exactly that.”
This testimonial is astonishing and the Fellowship has discussed it endlessly. We believe that what actually happened is that Edrick had set sail across the sea (night sparkles are possibly the stars) and had somehow drifted to central America centuries before it was ever ‘contacted’. He was possibly the first person to discover land masses outside of Europe for many, many years; at least in this tiny corner of the world and with such low population levels. Many additional details we received appear to support this hypothesis.
Edrick was chained up and was thrown into a makeshift cell by the wardens. After trying to convince the peacekeeper of his story, he was going to be executed the next day for mocking the ‘one true God’.
A few young villagers were intrigued by Edrick’s claims and organised rescuing him. They took him to a safe location where he taught them the language, religion and culture of the Light People. From here it appears that this order began to take shape and slowly spread. But only after the second journey.
There is so much more we have to archive regarding this collection. We had to include photograph #10 which was painted in 1859. It depicts Edrick the Great sailing through the cosmos towards the Light.
We hope you enjoy these images and we look forward to sharing much more with you soon.
Many thanks for reading.
